plaintiff:a person who brings suit in a court jury:a group of persons sworn to render a verdict or true answer on a question or questions officially submitted to them
jurisdiction: the power, right, or authority to interpret and apply the law
gavel:a small mallet used by the presiding officer of a meeting, a judge, etc., usually to signal for attention or order.
